Neuroblastoma Research

The Eli Talley Foundation is proud to support the John Maris Laboratory led by John M. Maris, MD at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Targeted therapies developed in the Maris Lab provided Elijah and countless patients from all across the world additional treatment options and hope they wouldn’t have otherwise had. The research that comes from this dedicated team, along with the passion and commitment they have for neuroblastoma patients granted us more time with Elijah. This time gave Eli more chances to meet new people, listen to new music, and gain valuable life experiences.

Four important areas of study we are excited to support:

  • assessing targeted drugs for the treatment of pediatric neuroblastoma

  • drivers of the malignant process in neuroblastoma

  • the NEPENTHE (Next Generation Personalized Neuroblastoma Therapy) Trial: using genetic profiles to assign patients to specific treatment strategies

  • using Alpha-emitting MABG in Targeted Radiotherapy for Neuroblastoma

Each of these areas are continually changing the trajectory of what a pediatric neuroblastoma diagnosis look like. It’s these pillars of research combined with the passion and heart of the Maris team that make us so proud to financially support the lab.

Thank you for supporting the Eli Talley Foundation. Together, by supporting vital research conducted by teams like those in the Maris Lab, we are making a difference for neuroblastoma patients across the globe.
